Following her position as member (since 2017), Bertine Lahuis (1967) has taken on the role of Chair of Radboundumc's Executive Board as of January 2020. Radboudumc is one of the World's Best Hospitals in 2024 - Newsweek's ranking of the World's Best Hospitals -, a university medical center for patient care, research, and education, located in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Radboudumc wants to be at the forefront in shaping health and healthcare of the future. Prior to that, she was a director and child psychologist at the Karakter children’s psychiatric hospital. She completed her studies in Medicine in Utrecht, specializing in child psychology and focusing on autism during her PhD. Until 2009, she worked at University Medical Center Utrecht.

Dr. Charlotte Refsum, Director of Health Policy at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, will be speaking at the CONVEHO European Hospital & Healthcare Convention on the critical topic: "Preparing the NHS for the AI Era: A Digital Health Record for Every Citizen." A trained physician and expert in health policy, Dr. Refsum is dedicated to harnessing the power of AI and other technologies to drive prevention, create sustainable health systems, and achieve health equity for all. Her work, alongside renowned figures such as Sir Patrick Vallance and Sir John Bell, significantly influences policy discussions on social care, biotechnology, and healthcare in the AI era. With experience working in 25 countries, Dr. Refsum has played a key role in transforming health systems on a global scale, making her a leading voice in the future of healthcare.

In recent years, Gita Gallé has held several positions in the healthcare industry, a sector she describes as relevant and complex. Her goal is to achieve results and innovation by combining the talent, drive and strength of her colleagues and external stakeholders. Connection and communication are key words.Besides this position, she is chairman of the Supervisory Board of Zorgbalans (care organization in nursing care and home care), member of the Supervisory Board of Medisch Spectrum Twente (top clinical & teaching hospital), member of the Supervisory Board of Economic Board Utrecht. Earlier in her career she worked for KLM in several positions and for the local government. She has a background as a social scientist.

Professor Dragan Primorac is a pediatrician and geneticist, currently serving on the Executive Committee of ICPerMed and as President of The Croatian Society for Human Genetics and The Croatian Society for (Precision) Personalized Medicine. He is also a member of the Croatian Prime Minister's Scientific Committee and co-founded The International Society of Applied Biological Sciences with the Mayo Clinic. Prof. Primorac served in a ministerial role for five years and is the first "Global Penn State University Ambassador." He is a Chairman of the Board of Trustees at St Catherine Specialty Hospital', Croatia's largest private hospital and a European Center of Excellence.

Panos Minogiannis has been the General Manager of the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center since 2014, maintaining its reputation as Southeastern Europe’s top cardiac surgery center. In 2022, he was named Health and Safety Manager of the Year in Greece. He earned his Ph.D. from Columbia University, where his dissertation on European Integration and Health Policy won the Marisa de Castro Benton Award. From 2009 to 2014, he was a visiting lecturer at Columbia University and the Open University of Cyprus. Additionally, he has been recognized for his support of the White House Medical Unit and the President of the United States, highlighting his dedication to global healthcare excellence.

Dr. Olga Schiopu, a board-certified physician, has served as CEO of Medpark International Hospital, the largest private multidisciplinary hospital in Moldova, for over eight years. Under her leadership, Medpark obtained Joint Commission International accreditation. In 2014, she founded the Association of Private Healthcare Providers of Moldova and served as its President until 2023. She is a board member of the Foreign Investors Association in Moldova and the National Coordinator of the HOPE Exchange Program. Dr. Schiopu has extensive experience in business administration, quality management, and project management, providing consultancy in Moldova and the region.

Prof. Jaroslaw J. Fedorowski, one of the moderators of the European Hospital Convention, runs the Polish Hospital Federation and is a Treasurer and Executive Committee Member of the International Hospital Federation IHF and Governor at the European Hospital Federation HOPE. A medical doctor and healthcare executive, he holds MD and PhD degrees, and an MBA in healthcare administration from institutions in Poland and the USA. Specializing in internal medicine, cardiology, and managed care medicine, he has held leadership roles at the University of Vermont Health Network, Enel-Med SA Hospitals of Poland SA. and Hospitals Projektentwicklungsges mbH. He is a university professor with clinical experience in Poland, the USA, UK, and Switzerland.

As such I founded the quality institute of the federation of Dutch University Medical Centers that stayed active now for 15 years. At present I use my experience in governance in several boards and national committees of scientific institutes and health care. As vice president of FEAM I contributed to projects on one health, pandemic preparedness and artificial preparedness in health and chaired the ethics committee”.
